Iar listele astea trei in general mi se par complet haotice. Un Prophete si Secret Sunshine, inteleg ca in America au ajuns de abia in 2010, dar e complet neverosimil sa le propui. Un Prophete a si fost nominalizat anul trecut pentru Film Strain.

^E si una si alta. Adica a aparut si ca film de trei ore parca, dar si ca mini-serie. Trebuie sa ii acord si eu o vizionare, se pare ca intr-adevar e the real deal. In plus, Edgar arata destul de bine, asa ca un bonus si zvonurile spun ca si Edgar Jr. arata la fel de bine . Intr-adevar, prezenta unor filme precum Un Prophet si Secret Sunshine ma cam surprinde. S-a vorbit la un moment dat si de o nominalizare pentru actorul principal din Un Prophet...I mean, n-ar fi trebuit ca Academia sa faca asta anul trecut? Dupa mine, Profetul are 0 sanse sa mai pupe vreo nominalizare...no way! Nici nu cred ca s-au mai facut special screenings pentru el.

Cat despre restul...Manohla Dargis are 2 documentare in Topul ei BP, A.O. Scott pare sa fi fost intr-un FEMINIST MODE: ON cand a facut top-ul regizorilor , iar la actori vad ca Edgar apare pe lista tuturor, Tahar pe una, iar Cassel pe doua. Acu' intrebarea ar fi pentru care Mesrine sa fie nominalizat Vinnie: primul sau al doilea? La capitolul supporting actor, situatia sta ceva mai bine. Vad multa dragoste pentru Bale, ceea ce e bine , dar ma intreb ce face Chris Cooper acolo, fiindca nu cred ca The Company Men e eligibil pentru vreo nominalizare. La scenarii Manohla pare sa aiba din nou o slabiciune pentru filmele documentare...

I don't know, mi se par niste liste care se forteaza cam prea mult in a fi neconventionale.

Same. Din punctul asta de vedere mi se par cam neprofesioniste. Adica e ok sa-si faca topul lor personal, dar daca e vorba de nominalizari, ar trebui macar sa incerce sa informeze mai exact.

Ok, de cateva saptamani incoace, de cand e nebunia cu Golden Globes and Oscars si alte "not so" important festivals, vad ca multi nu isi doresc ca filme precum True Grit sau Inception sa fie nici macar nominalizate. Desigur, par subiectiv aici, pentru mi-au placut, dar daca Inception are aceeasi soarta ca Inglorious Basterds anul trecut ar fi cam nasol.
Asta am vazut si pe unele din acele liste. What is the point?
Apropo intrebare, Shuter Island nu se califica pentru Oscarul de anul asta, sau a fost lansat prea tarziu, mi-ar fi placut sa il vad pe Leonardo DiCaprio la Best Actor.

Probabil la fel cum are sa prinda o nominalizare la Oscar. Eventual poate aparea la un NCRR sau Studio, de dragul actorilor romani ce joaca in el, dar asta mai incolo.
