Anyways, Beckett rules. All of his short stories for that matter. My favorites: Mercier et Camier and L'expulse.

My fav Beck IS "Molloy"! Long ago when I read it, I was imagining in my sick mind a movie (now this IS a sick mind, ain't it?) with a twisted title as a blending of the words MOlloy/MOran - but now I think that's the ONLY way one could put on screen from "Molloy"!

Dupa vreo 10 pagini engleza ea infantila a capitulat in fata slangului sau.

M-am mai intretinut cu doua Coetzee-uri adica 'Waiting for the Barbarians' si 'Disgrace', curatele, sensibile, nobel style (not quite mine).

Enfin, ultima mea obsesie Toby Litt - Corpsing, un thriller citadin, bolnav (de amor), autoflagelant si, cred eu, foarte cinematografic

Ernesto Sabato - "Despre eroi si morminte"; problema raului in lume, o combinatie de Dostoievski si Proust plus melancolia tipic sudamericana; posibil ca viziunile sale sa-l fi influentat pe Cartarescu in "Orbitor"; usor repetitiv, dar cum zice si el:"in operele marilor scriitori se regasesc aceleasi teme deoarece ei scriu numai despre obsesiile lor cele mai adanci"

Anthony Burgess - "Portocala Mecanica"

maybe tv makes u God. and it could be that all we are is God's television.
or santa Clause. Santa Clause sees everything.
Santa clause is just a story. he's just the opening band toGod. there is no santa Clause.

i wanted pink triangles but all pannls have pink triangles. it's the nazi symbol for homosexuals. your father suggested black triangles but that would mean shane was a lezbian. it looks like the female pubic hair. the black triangle does.

ultima carte citita:
Henry James - the Turn of the Screw & The Aspern Papers
2 novellas

nici n-am zis ca e VORBA DESPRE (as in tema povestirii) un ghost story...am spus ca ESTE un ghost story (as in background, subiect) si sustin in continuare afirmatia!
