se pare ca fanii LOTR castiga batalie dupa batalie. fratilor ...ala nu e film....nu zic ca nu m-am distrat la el. m-am distrat. mi-au placut diverse...muzici costume actori povestea....dar ala nu e film. in sensul celei de-a 7 ea arte NU e film....asta e.

PS: intrebare tampita,(nu am chef sa verific) city of god(s) e cita de deus?

In mod normal, favoritul meu aici ar fi Clint Eastwood (am sa ma lamurasc dupa ce-i vad filmul). Dar, oricum ar fi, tot Peter Jackson castiga...

daca ajunge sa castige peter jaxon, mi-am pregatit deja streangul. tipul ala mic si ciudatel, gras, cu ochelari si plete carliontate merita sa apara pe coperta revistei 'vogue' la capitolul 'cele mai excentrice tendinte ale anului'.

eu nu zic ca nu e regizor bun - dar daca LOTR este un film care imi displace, imi displace din vina lui - nu stau sa comentez. jackson vrea sa-l faca grandios, epopeic, epic, biblic (parca scria asta in ghidul hbo!) dar nu e decat sinistru, morbid, caznit, etc. jackson a aratat ce poate cu 'braindead' si 'the frightners' - adica un regizor maniacal inrudit cu sam raimi (desi si el e mai normal!) fara inclinatii artistice in cinematografie. daca are de gand sa-l resusciteze pe king kong n-are decat, dar asta nu face decat sa-mi confirme teoria.

Normal, ordinea mea favorita ar fi City of God, Lost in Translation si apoi LOTR. Regia de la City of God mi s-a parut cea mai buna, mai ales ca a avut de-a face cu actori neprofesionisti, majoritatea copii sau adolescenti. Nu mai vorbim de bugete.

Nu pot sa votez cu Eastwood si Coppola, pt ca nu am vazut filmele. Asa ca merg cu necunoscutii brazilieni care au facut "City of God", un film cu adevarat exceptional.

Peter Jackson (Fernando Meirelles ar fi a doua optiune). Adversarul cel mai serios pentru Jackson pare a fi Peter Weir (sincer eu unul recunosc ca nu inteleg succesul extraordinar al filmului Master and Commander).
