Jim Backus a fost actor american, dar și creator de voci. Pe numele său adevărat James Gilmore Backus, se naște pe 25.02.1913, la Bratenahl, Ohio, și moare de pneumonie, pe 03.07.1989, la Spitalul Sf. Ioan din California. Cunoscut în cinematografie pentru Magoo Voice, în anul 1949 apare în primul său film intitulat "The Great Lover". În intervalul 1952 - 1955 este prezent în serialul "I Married Joan" și în "Gilligan". A jucat în peste 75 de filme, printre care și "Rebel fără cauză",...
