Sinopsis Where the Red Fern Grows

Fiul unor fermieri din Oklahoma - Billy Coleman reușește să-și cumpere doi câini de vânătoare. Într-o zi Billy este atacat de o pumă. Câinii săi îl salvează, dar în luptă unul dintre ei este ucis. Celălalt câine rămas în viață, din cauza lipsei celui dispărut, sfârșește după câteva zile pe mormântul acestuia.
